A farm-style morning

FUN DAY!! We spent the night at Alpha's Pappaw's house last night. We've talked about his house/farm before in my last post. I had the BEST time out there. I got to play with Hooch again, he loves to fetch sticks, even out in the pond!! I prefer to chase Hooch while he fetches. Except in the water.. I don't like deep water so I wait on the bank and POUNCE like a lion when he gets close. Oh, bad reference.. lions are cats, fiendish beings. I pounce like a WOLF. Yea, a wolf. I decided chickens are fun; they're so easy to round up into a circle! I met a horse too. Those things are BIG.. I decided I would keep my distance just to be safe. I also met some miniature hoomans! Brody, Bryce, and Brittlee. They are part of the same pack, and they're all still puppies. They know how to have fun! They liked petting me, I wanted to tackle them so bad!! We want to play with them again.
It sure did wear me out. I can't wait to go back! I'm planning on spending alot more time there; there's just so much fun to be had!!

I DO know how to herd!

I FINALLY GOT TO DO WHAT I'M MADE FOR! I herded!! It was awesome!! Alpha took me to his Pappaw's house, he has horses, a cow, a donkey, some chickens, etc. the cow is still a baby, and the donkey is some miniature breed. At first I just chased, but then I figured out Alpha was trying to make them go certain directions and I helped!! It was awesome. No pictures this time, it was just training and Alpha had his hands full. The donkey got bold and tried chasing me but I escaped. I can't wait to do it again!!

Alabama Tornado

It's been a crazy few days. The worst tornado outbreak in history rolled thru Alabama Wednesday. Alpha and I were lucky; the really bad ones missed us by a couple miles. It was close enough that we hid in the bathtub. I even got to wear my life jacket! Alpha thought it would give me extra protection from debris, and make me more noticeable if the worst happened. Luckily we didn't have to find out.
His hometown of cullman took a direct hit. All his family is safe, but the destruction is really bad. Him and Beta have been volunteering to help get trees off people's houses, they need more help. If you can donate food, water or time, cullman high school is volunteer headquarters. People with chainsaws are also in need.
We just found out Casting Crowns is hosting a benefit concert tonight (Sunday) at the cullman county fairgrounds at 7 pm.  IT'S FREE! They are asking for donations. Help spread the word!
Alpha also wanted to say thanks to everyone from all the country who has been sending support! It's more appreciated than you could ever know!!!
We Are Alabama!
